Artist Elizabeth KordesElizabeth Kordes

Elizabeth moved to Humboldt County from Riverside, CA in 2001. Elizabeth started coming to the Studio in 2008.

In high school, Elizabeth studied Art History. She says her artwork is inspired by nature and animals, especially reptiles. Her love of animals is prominent in the ceramic sculptures she has been producing at the Studio.

Elizabeth has also been a part of both the drama class and the video workshop. In “Animal of All Sorts”, Elizabeth played the part of a dolphin, which she also created the costume for.
